Portraits of women with guitars

Looking back over my photographs, realise I’ve taken pictures of women holding guitars several times now. Here are just a couple.

Kim models an Epiphone Sheraton II guitar, a copy of the classic Gibson 335 shape. It was shot against a Lastolite Hilite background and lit with Bowens Gemini 500 studio flash with the vintage yellowing effect added in post.
Bristol Burlesque star Missy Bijou with a 1996 Rickenbacker 330 6-string in 'mapleglo' finish. Shot with a sing Bowens Gemini 500 studio flash head place high and right of the camera for a moodier, shadowy effect. Camera used was a Canon 5D MKII with 24-70L lens. Tones altered on the computer.
